So sorry to hear about Art. He was a hard working God loving man who cherished his wife and family. He also was a great business partner for over 20 years who could be trusted to always do the right thing and make good decisions.
We will miss him but always remember him.

God Bless!

It has taken me awhile to write this memory. My heart is so very sad with the loss of my brother, Art, actually he was my big brother! I was third in the birth line and I always had a special fondness for my older brother. There are so many memories of growing up together. I do think Art was born a salesman. I remember polishing his motorcycle boots for 50 cents and cleaning the bathrooms at the Sunoco gas station he managed for 75 cents (well maybe it was a dollar). Art inherited our uncle's beautiful 57'Chevrolet and one day he offered me $1.00 to wash and wax his car. I think I was thirteen at the time. I started washing his car, and complained to him that the sun was too bright and I wasn't able to get the streaks out. He was busy working on his motorcycle in the barn, gave me the keys and told me to move the car. Of course I was thrilled, however, I didn't know how to drive! I started it and drove his beautiful Chevrolet right into the large fuel tank behind the house !!!!!! It took us as few years to see the humor of that incident. I cherish the memories of our family Christmases together, playing cards, fun boat rides, casino trips, camping at the state park and my visits to Florida. I will so miss his beautiful smile and warm welcome whenever I would see him. Sending prayers and love to Joanne, Andy, Jodi and Julie.

Joanne & family:
Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the unexpected passing of Art. We had numerous dealings with Art regarding the Northport marina Association. He was always a real gentleman to deal with & I enjoyed speaking with him on a fairly regular basis. I am sure he is in that "better place" that we all aspire to get to.
