Audrey Ann Bonzani Santus

Audrey (Bonzani) Santus was born in PA and grew up with her sister, Shirley and brother, Jim Jr. until the age of 7. After her mother died, she was raised by her Aunt Edith and Uncle Gino in the Toledo area, gaining two more sisters, Donna and Sandy. She married John Santus in 1952 and they were totally in love for 51 years, until his death. She devoted her life to her family. She loved entertaining, cooking, gardening, singing, ice skating and climbing trees. Her family grew on 07/25/1971, when she was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses Her interests also grew, as she began comforting strangers and helping to save lives. After the death of Johnny, Audrey moved to Scottsdale AZ. where she died peacefully. Survivors include her sister, Sandy, her children, Kathi, John, Joe and Nancy, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. All were greatly loved and appreciated by Audrey's huge heart. She had a particular affection for children, many of whom entertained her in her last days. She also left behind multitudes of friends of all ages in her worldwide spiritual family. She did not leave behind her God, Jehovah, who retains her in his memory until the day of her resurrection. She endured faithfully from the day of her baptism until her death.
