LaVone "Bonnie" Bernice (Willhour) Kaltved the daughter of Howard and Lena (Schrock) Willhour was born September 20, 1919 in Estherville, Iowa and departed this life on Friday, April 6, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Society in Estherville at the age of 92 years and 6 months. She received her education in Estherville schools. On September 11, 1938 she was united in marriage to Arthur Kaltved at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa. After their marriage, the couple farmed in the Estherville area. Bonnie was a nurse's aid at Holy Family Hospital for 16 years. She also worked as a nurse's aid for 17 years at the Good Samaritan Society. She enjoyed collecting dolls, growing flowers and many other hobbies. She loved being around her family. Bonnie was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church in Estherville. Mrs. Kaltved is survived by her six sons, Robert and his wife, Shirley of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Ronald and his wife, Marjean; David and his wife, Elaine all of Estherville; James and his wife, Kathy of Blaine, Minnesota; Kenneth and his wife, Donna; Roger and special friend, DeAnna all of Estherville; Wayne Peterson, special friend of the family; 24 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Leon Kaltved and wife, Jan of Alexandria, Minnesota and one sister-in-law, Kathy Kaltved of Rockford, Illinois. She has been preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two sisters, Helen and Marjorie. INTERMENT Estherville Lutheran Cemetery Estherville
