Brandon "Joey" Joseph Verneuil

Brandon "Joey" Joseph Verneuil passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021, in Loranger, Louisiana, at the age of 36. He was born on Monday, March 18, 1985 in Hammond, Louisiana to Deborah Verneuil and Gary Verneuil. He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Joey was a member of the Black Sheep MC, where he was known as "Slick Joey." Joey is survived by his father, Gary Verneuil and his stepmother, Katie; daughters, HaleyJo Marie Wilson-Verneuil and Kaydance Grace Verneuil; sister, Amy Verneuil Pereira and her husband Matt, and their three children, Natalie, Sarah, and Daniel; sister, Ashley Verneuil Thompson and her husband, Austin, and their two children, Abram and Emilia; sister, Dixie L. Verneuil and her children Jayce and Kolt; significant other, Jordan Martin; and his dog, Sprocket. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Andrew "Buddy" and Mable Verneuil. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Friday, August 6, 2021, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The visitation will continue the following day, Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the funeral home, beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Ponchatoula Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the Fallen Riders Foundation in Joey's name.
