Brighton Bakery

Carmen would stop in the Brighton Bakery each week to say hello, give us a hug and a smile. He always called the women "pretty lady." Always encouraging words of wisdom to look forward to, and share his stories. He would cook us dinner on the farm and bring it to us, knowing we can't always make it to the daytime hours. The animals were well cared for and his pride and joy. The peacock was beautiful and would flaunt it's feathers when you arrived. The oxen were beautiful, even a photo of him in our collection. The 1,000 lb. pigs a sight to see! The cute goats and sheep grazing in the field were a picture in a book. We will miss Shirley and Carmen on their trips to the city, the little doggy especially would jump out and back in the pick up truck. Carmen always thought of others before himself. His selflessness and kind heart will be missed. "Until we meet again, Carmen!" See you later, with hugs.
