Charles Alvin Dittamore Jr., 92, of Bonita Springs, Florida, formerly of Paris, Illinois, passed away at 12:45 p.m. EDT Sunday, September 15, 2013, at Hope Health Care Hospice in Bonita Springs. He was retired after many years as a sales associate with Rural King Supply of Paris. He was born April 2, 1921, in Vigo County, Indiana, the son of the late Charles Alvin and Leona Belle (Arney) Dittamore Sr. He married Evelyn Jane Austin on December 20, 1941, in Paris. She preceded him in death March 27, 2011. Survivors include a son, Charles E. "Chuck" (Donna S.) Dittamore of Bonita Springs; two sisters, Wilma Keigley of Tuscola, Illinois, and Margie Temples of Ellettsville, Indiana; two grandsons, Larry Douglas Dittamore of Naples, Florida, and Charles Corey (Rene') Dittamore of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; three great-granddaughters, Ashley Rene' (Rob) Fouch of St. Louis, Missouri, and Marcella Chloe and Francie Adele Dittamore both of Broken Arrow; and two great-great-grandchildren, Robert Finnley and Coco Mae Fouch both of St. Louis. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Austin Dittamore. Mr. Dittamore was a graduate of Oakland High School of Oakland, Illinois, and was a member Living Word Family Church of Naples. He was an avid golfer and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to Living Word Family Church of Naples. SERVICE INFORMATION Services celebrating his life were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2013, at Templeton Funeral Home in Paris. Pastors Paul and Maria Foslien officiated, the obituary was shared by Pastor Trent Cloin, and eulogies were given by Corey and Doug Dittamore. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery in Oakland. Casket Bearers were Corey and Doug Dittamore, Rob Fouch, Larry Fox, Roger Reed, and Gerald Temples. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Templeton Funeral Home in Paris.
