Cynthia Zipprian Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 14, 2016.
On December 15, 1947, God graced Christian and Hazel Reinecke with the presence of Cynthia (Cindy) Ann Zipprian and on January 6, 2016, she was called back home. Cindy Zipprian was born in Beeville, Texas and lived all over South Texas before settling down in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1965. In March of 1968 Cindy married Richard Zipprian, Sr. and had two sons, Richard (Ricky) Jr. and Ryan, whom were her world, but her greatest roll was when she became a Grandmother to her only biological Granddaughter, Frehley. If it wasn't keeping score and rooting for the Southside Youth Football League or Southside Pony League Baseball, Cindy was a band booster where she held the position of Treasurer and volunteered for many activities. During this time she worked at countless locations, but mainly Grunwald Printing, Manpower Temporary Agency and St. Marks Lutheran Church. Throughout life, Cindy was a kind and loving soul. She would help anyone anyway that she could. She volunteered with different organizations and was active with her church and when her health didn't allow her to be actively volunteering, she did what she could. If it wasn't crocheting hats and scarfs for the homeless, she made donations to other organizations. There was not a soul that she didn't touch in one way or another. Cindy was survived by two sons: Richard Earl (Amy) Zipprian, Jr. and Ryan Christopher Zipprian. Three Grandchildren: Jenner Ashton Spence, Raylynn Leigh Spence and Frehley Criss Zipprian. Nieces and Nephews: Trey, Bettye Lynn, James Allen, Mark and Burt Zipprian. Cindy was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, in-laws, her husband and a niece. Visitation will be Monday, January 18, 2016 at Most Precious Blood Church from 3:00-5:00 p.m. A Rosary will be held at Most Precious Blood Church, 3502 Saratoga Blvd., at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Most Precious Blood Church at 10:00 a.m. with graveside services following after at Seaside Funeral home. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, please send donations to the ASPCA.

I love you mom and I can't believe that your 73rd Birthday would have been tomorrow. I can't believe that we will be spending our 5th Christmas without you there. Frehley, Raylynn, Amy and I miss you so very much. Love you mom.
