Daniel Purinton

Daniel Purinton, age 70, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at his home in Manchester, NH with his loving wife right beside him. He was born on May 3, 1951, in Chicopee Falls, MA, the son of the late George and Beatrice (Brown) Purinton. Danny loved music of any kind. He started playing the drums when he was twelve years old and started playing in a band on the road in the 60's. He loved walking on the beach with his wife Janet and going on long rides together just to enjoy the scenery and grab a beer and a bite to eat. Janet and Danny were together for 40 years, married for 28. He loved life and his family and his best pal, his kitty Rudy. He was wonderful husband and father. In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his son Ryan who passed away 2011. Danny is survived by his wife, Janet (Getty) Purinton and his brother Bruce and his wife Gail, his aunt Ruthie Purinton; nieces, Heather Hewey and Koren Purinton and great nieces and nephews, Olivia, Alexandra, Natalie, Noah and Emma. Danny also leaves behind his brother-in-law David Getty and sister in law Jetta Getty and his cousins, Judy Edwards, Paul and John Mcquade, Rosemarie Hagerty, Russell Downing, Candi and Ron Poitras, Judy Frizzle, Gail O'Connell and Elaine Bradley. At the end, Danny also had 3 best friends who meant a lot to him; Phil McManus, Dave Berry and Steve Dietrich. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 10:30AM at the Calvary Bible Church, 145 Hampstead Rd., Derry, NH.
