Elizabeth Vallo

VALLO, BETTY age 81 of Kettering passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014. Betty was born on November 1, 1932 in Minster, Ohio. She is survived by her loving husband Myrle Vallo; five daughters Sue (Doug) Meyer, Connie (Tim) O'Connell, Ann (Kirk) Febus, Margaret (Jeff) Lampert, and Karen (Mike) Berry; fifteen grandchildren Ellen Meyer, Emily Meyer, Elizabeth Meyer, Kristin O'Connell, Natalie (Taylor) Williams, Lucy (Scott) Jacobs, Mark Febus, Dan Febus, Steven Lampert, Denise (Shannon) Wilson, Marie Lampert, Alison Berry, Julianne Berry, Catherine Berry, and Elizabeth Berry; and two great-grandchildren Thomas and Evelyn Jacobs. Betty was a registered nurse graduating from the Good Samaritan School of Nursing. She was a talented pianist, teaching many young musicians over a span of twenty years as the owner of the Yamaha Music School of Dayton. She was a daily lap swimmer and loved to play golf, tennis, and bridge. Above all, Betty's greatest love and source of joy was her family. She was an inspiration to all of them in life and the memory of her will continue to inspire them in the future. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 15 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 16 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering.
