My most sincere condolences to the entire family. I worked with "Gene" from 1977, until his retirement from the Livonia Fire Dept. He taught me many things about being a firefighter, and how to lead men. Most importantly , how to "Set an example", and never ask anyone to do anything that He wouldn't do himself. He was a good guy...and I always appreciated him!......Bruce MacDonald
