Florence L. Dufield

Florence Dufield a long time resident and business owner in Manchester passed away at Elliot Hospital after a long illness on Friday, November 13, 2020. She will be remembered for loving, friendly and giving personality as a business owner and friend to so many. During her long tenure as a Manchester inner city business owner she would contribute back to her customers and their families, by raising money and having large Christmas parties with presents for 100 of her customers children year after year. She had many interests but most of all she loved her sports, especially her Red Sox and Patriots. She loved to play pool with friends and was quite good at it. All that knew her will remember her for her humor and ability to make anyone smile. She was loved by many and will be missed all. She is survived by her partner of 34 years Doris Gray, her daughter Charmaine Moran, her twin nieces she & her partner raised from infants Shannon & Sara Buckley, Kimberly Ozuna, Denise Mekkelsen, predeceased by son Steve Colman & Anthony Gray, grandchildren, Steve & Andrew Moran, Mary & Anna Moran, Jonathan , Tanisha, Gabriela, & Alyson Ozuna, Chasity Gray, Emmy Horan & Aiden Emery, greatgrandchildren, Annalis, Julenny, & Wilfredo (Macho) Castro & Eliana Ozuna, who will miss her so very much including nieces & nephews. A funeral service will be held for Florence at Blessed Sacrament Church, South Elm Street, Manchester at 10 AM on Friday November 27, 2020. All are invited to attend her service.
