TACKETT, FLOYD, JR. "PEE WEE," - age 67 of Knoxville passed away Sunday, January 9, 2011 at his home. Pee Wee was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid University of Kentucky Fan all of his life. Pee Wee was preceded in death by father, Floyd Gilbert Tackett Sr. He was survived by his mother, Evelyn Beach; daughters, Keri Tackett, and Tiffany and Mark Remick; granddaughter, Breanne Marie Remick; brothers, Michael and Donna Tackett, and Terry Tackett; sisters, Marie McCalla, Jackie and Buddy Schubert, and Patty Seavers; aunt, Pauline Trent; and beloved dog, "Rocky". Services for Pee Wee will be on Thursday, January 13, at 7:00 PM at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel with Rev. Alan Smith officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 13, from 5:00 PM to service time at 7:00 PM at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society , 871 North Weisgarber Road, Knoxville, Tennessee, 37909.
