Frances Lucy Pupek (nee Calamia)

Frances Lucy Pupek passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 3, 2021. Born in Norristown on August 21, 1934, Frances was the daughter to the late Harry and Anna Calamia (nee DelBuono). Upon graduating from Norristown High School in 1952, Frances went on to marry the late Walter J. Pupek. She was a devoted wife, cherished mother to Regina Pupek (Marvin), Carolyn Herrera (Joseph), Michael (Ceniela), and Anne Schools (George), dear grandmother to Brandon (Concetta) and Aidan, sister to Ben Calamia (Kathy), Joanne Pellechio (Daniel), and Mary Hanlon (the late Joseph), beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews, GranFran to many great nieces and great nephews, sister-in-law to Mary Ann Calamia and George Pupek, and friend to all. Frances worked for the Visiting Nurses Association for many years. In her free time she loved to read, plant flowers, go shopping, bowl and have coffee with neighbors. Above all, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She will be missed by all, as everyone who knew her and met her, loved her dearly! Her kindness touched everyone. Relatives and friends are invited to Frances' Life Celebration on Thursday September 9, 2021 at St. Paul Church of Norristown, 2007 New Hope St. from 9 am to 9:50 am. Her Funeral Mass will immediately follow at 10 am. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery.
