Frank, or Fritz as he was affectionately known, was a strong father figure and accomplished musician who led a polka band all through the 1970s and early 80s. He was a great influence on me to take up a music instrument (trumpet) since he was already an accomplished musician himself, playing the accordian, keyboard, and bass. At age 18 or 19 Fritz was the stand-up bass player for those old time radio music broadcasts out of Dubois, PA. He was also the church organist in the Catholic churches located in Starford and Clymer, PA for over 50 years. Fritz had a great sense of humor, often making funny but perfectly clear comments using the least number of words. He made friends wherever he went and entertained many people. He is sadly missed by all who knew him, especially his immediate family. Larry
