George Swain Jr.

George Bradford Swain Jr., 68, of Casa Grande died on April 26, 2013, at home. The service will be later in North Carolina. Mr. Swain was born on Nov. 10, 1944, in Norfolk, Va., and was a son of George B. Swain Sr. and Frances R. Rhodes. He served in the Army and formerly was a police officer in Huachuca City, Globe, Aynor, S.C., Aiken County, S.C., and with the Pinal County Sheriff's Office. He worked in security at the Nissan Technical Center near Stanfield at the time of his death. Survivors include his wife, Cindy E.; two sons, Jeffrey Arthaud of Whittier, N.C., and Thomas Arthaud of Hattiesburg, Miss.; a daughter, Kimberly Morris of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Marie Stephenson of Smithfield, Va., and Margaret Swain of Windsor, Va.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Swain. J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel was in charge of local arrangements.
