Grace was one of the first people I met after moving to St. Cloud from Wilmington, NC. We developed a fast friendship, and living next to each other, we spent hours talking and laughing and sharing stories. I loved hearing about her younger days growing up in Minnesota. I got to meet her family who were also wonderful. Grace loved baking and shared her baked goods with my husband and me. We in turn, shared our Southern country cooking with her. She loved my husband's cornbread. I got to spend three years with Grace before moving back to NC, but we still kept in touch by phone. I am going to miss her dearly. I loved her.

I met Amazing Grace 14 years ago when I went to see my friend Alice Parrish in St Paul and we traveled to St Cloud to visit her. What a dear person she was....I sent her birthday cards and she sent me notes that I still have. I know our Lord and Savior greeted her with open arms. I will nev er forget this dear lady.
