Our kind and generous neighbor of 22 years (1990 2012), Grace was true to her name. She appreciated and savored the small things her cup of tea, a good conversation, the beauty of flowers, the blue sky, and the laughter of children. She was a good listener with a knack of ending a conversation on a positive, optimistic note. Her motherly and nursing instincts caused her to show concern and worry with her neighbors in times of illness, stress or trouble. Were sure she prayed for us when we needed prayers, and would send treats over to lift our spirits. No one could ask for better neighbors than Grace and Jim Scheppan. We are thankful and better to have known Grace Scheppan. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jim and his family as they mourn. Grace has left you precious memories that we hope will make the sun shine on your days and weeks and months and years ahead. We will always fondly remember Grace. May she rest in peace and be welcomed as a good and faithful servant to her heavenly home.
With deepest sympathy
