Mrs. Hildegard K. (nee Swoboda) Hadicke

Hadicke Hildegard K. Hadicke (nee Swoboda) of New Hope passed away Oct 8th, 2012 at the age of 94. Born and raised in Germany, she was the youngest of eight. She was responsible for delivering mail during World War II on her bicycle. After the war she met & married her husband and started a family. They moved to the United States in 1954 and completed their family of four. While raising her family, she also worked on her sisters farm. She loved spending time with her family as well as tending to her vegetables from her garden. She was a woman of many talents and a silly sense of humor. She cared for her family deeply and she will be missed greatly. She was the wife of the late, Wilhelm F. and loving mother of William P. (Dyan), Martin, Ann K. Snyder and Christine M. Tomlinson (Wayne). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Eric (Dianna), Hayley, David & Dennis and her great-grandchildren, Kyle, Devon & Reid. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
