Isaias "Chato" Banderas, 44, lifelong resident of the Southwest side of Chicago-Clearing neighborhood. Loving husband of Jessica Banderas, nee McDonald; devoted dad of Brianna Banderas and late Isaias Banderas Jr., and step-dad of Tybearius Torres; cherished brother of Antonio Banderas Jr., Juan Banderas, Tila Resendez, Rodolfo Banderas, Maribell Banderas, Noel Banderas, and Louis Rosales; treasured god-father of Alicia Zapata; best friend of Jose Antonio Silva; dearest son-in-law of Catherine McDonald and grandson-in-law of Alice Prales. Isaias was preceded in death by his parents Antonio Banderas, Sr. and Aurelia Banderas, nee Rosales. Isaias belonged to the Boys and Girls Club, and was a collector of GI Joe memorabilia. He was an avid sports fan, and loved basketball, the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears. Isaias had a big heart and will always be remembered for his beautiful smile. He loved spending time with his family, especially his beloved daughter. Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service Friday, August 27, 2021, at 10 a.m. Burial St. Mary Cemetery.
