Jim and I served in Vietnam together. We partied hard and had a lot of fun when our ship pulled into overseas ports. We were teenagers back then but managed to stay in touch throughout the years. We had each others backs and made each other laugh. He was a wild guy in his youth but settled down when he met the love of his life, Patty.
We always called each other at the holidays and talked about old times. I'll miss Jim and those phone calls. Smooth sailing my friend.

I was so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was such a character. I knew him from the BMC. (NDC) He was always a smart aleck, but made me laugh so many times. We saw each other at work functions over the years and I met Patty a couple times. She was so very sweet and I know he missed her terribly. I am sure they are together again. You have my deepest condolences.

Joe and Andy,
Were so sad to hear of your dads passing. We met your dad around seven years ago. He rented below us at Imperial House. We hit it off
immediately. We all had a lot of laughs and some tears together. He spoke of you both often and your mother Patty. He was proud of you both and we heard a lot about your mother which he loved and missed very much.
Your dad called us the day after he got the news on his health. We will miss him greatly. He was a kind and caring person to many people. You and your loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers.
