Family & friends,
I did not know Jayant but I was hoping to share some words of comfort. It's never easy to lose someone you love especially someone so young. God promises us that we will see our loved ones again in the very near future. Take comfort in knowing that you will see Jayant again as well. Until then may your hearts be filled with the wonderful memories of joyful times spent together as you celebrate a life well lived. Please accept my condolences.

I went to school with Jayant at Swanson Middle School and Washington-Lee. I had a few classes with Jayant freshman and sophomore year. He was one of the most genuinely kind people I have ever met. Every time I saw him in the hallways and during class he was always positive and happy, which seemed to always lift my mood as well. From the time that I spent with him, I was exposed to his intelligence and his drive to succeed. And I know he would've gone on to do amazing things. What had an especially profound affect on me was that even after sophomore year, after we stopped having classes together, he would greet me in the hallway or the library. During my time with him, I found it so easy to just relax and be myself. I wish I had done more to be around him because I know he would've made me a better person. I cannot imagine the pain that your family feels for the loss of Jayant. I'm sure he was an amazing son and brother, and I can attest to the fact that he was an amazing friend and person. I'm so sorry for your loss.
