Jessie M. Brandhoff, age 91, of Bel Air, MD passed away on April 11, 2017 at the Greenfield Senior Living in Bel Air, MD. Born in Darlington, MD, she was the daughter of John Carroll Murphy and Pearl Althea (Day) Murphy and was the wife of the late Edward B. Brandhoff Sr. A member of Grace United Methodist Church in Aberdeen, she was a very good seamstress and enjoyed cross stitching, quilting, knitting and gardening. The family would like to thank the staff of Greenfield for their love, care and support of Jessie. Mrs. Brandhoff is survived by her son, Edward Brandhoff, Jr. and wife, Sharon of Towson; daughter, Janet C. Beane and husband, Dexter, of Bel Air; grandchildren, Carol Buffington and husband, Scott, Michelle Ager and husband, Michael, and Daniel Beane; and great-grandchildren, Ashley and Cody Buffington, Alexander, Matthew, Sarah and Nicholas Ager. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Carroll Murphy, Jr., and sister, Mary M. Ward. Those who desire may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Road, Suite D, Timonium, MD, 21093 or to Grace United Methodist Church, 110 W. Bel Air, Ave., Aberdeen, MD 21001.
