John was a lifelong friend, a tough competitor, and one of the nicest guys you could ever know. I always looked forward to seeing him when he would come by the house. I will miss him greatly.

Mr. Geiges always had a smile on his face and was kind to all. He was a good friend and fellow Brielle Fireman with my dad, Bob Sauer. My condolences to his family. He's at peace now.
