It has almost been a month that John has left us. He was more than a cousins husband to Jim & me. John was like our dearest brother. I ( Debbie) have known John since 1969 & told Carol to marry this guy. Jim my husband has known John about 35 yrs. Jim liked him immediately. We have vacationed together many many times. Spent weekends with our families at each other's homes. It's been hard to express my deepest thoughts, because if sadness. He was a doer, go-getter, helper, giver, funny joke guy, love giver & all the most natural traits we all have. But, you never forgot what he might have said or did. He was very memorable.
We love John, Carol, Michelle, Tony & their spouses & children.
Life won't seem the same in any way without him. But, life goes on & we shall find strength in the memories of John.
Carol , Michelle, Rick, Sean, Tony, Amy ,Natalie & Nick will always be our close family.
John's last few months, he would use this phrase" Make it happen"!. He did his best. God brought him home & ended his suffering. He now is in peace & I am sure enjoying a fabulous feast with all he has loved.
Until our time ends on this earthly ground , we will be all reunited with our loved ones & be in the glory of God.
John you were the Best to us & our boys. My Mark sent me a text yesterday & said, he really was a great man Mom. I will miss him too.
God gives & God takes away. But, as Believers in Jesus it's a big gift of giving from God.
Thank you Father God for letting us all enjoy John.
Love to you Carol Ann & your dear ones. God bless, Jim & Debbie

Dear Carol,

Mary and I just found out about John's passing. We are so saddened by this and want to assure you of our love for you , John and all of your beautiful family members.

John was such a fine man, husband, father, grand father, decorated veteran and a first class professional. I have so many memories of him, as we were both East Baltimore neighborhood buddies as well as classmates over many years. He chose the army since I was never able to convince him he should be in the Air Force.

I loved his sense of humor and strong loyalty to his family. John was truly 'one of the guys' and ALWAYS will be! I haven't a doubt that we will all see him again, in God's Good Time.

With Profound Sympathy,

Al & Mary Hisley

Carol Ann and Family, Regina and I wanted you to know that we are thinking about you and the family at this time. I always liked when John and the family would come to visit us in Easton. John also wanted to know what I was up to and he was a very positive person in my life. He will be missed.

Dear Carol, Michelle and family, We are so sorry to hear of John's passing. Although we didn't know him personally, at times we did share some enjoyable trips down memory lane, focused on our young lives in East Baltimore, with its corner stores, endless bakeries and the Northeast Market. Please accept our sincere condolences. We will keep John and all your family in our prayers. With deepest sympathy, Charlie and Fran Abel
