I remember his home on Moniteau and 13th. long before his family move to wonderful home on Broadway,,,,I remember his uncle Sherman, who I believed was employed by post office who rocked in his chair...we sat together in 1st several grades at Broadway school and me, Bill Brown, and I believe Tony Monsees would chose numbers between one and ten, while John had a number in mind and the 2 closest numbers would sit next to him at lunch...he was that popular, even then...he and I took swimming lessons together at liberty park pool...I remember square dancing ..his partner was Marcia Edding..about the 3rd grade....After moving across town, we no longer were in same school or classes at high school except for band one year...I was invited and went to his first wedding....Think about him every now and then...Hope memories of him will bring the joy of knowing him.
