Many years have passed since West Side High. Joe and I were very close then and stayed touch even when he moved from Union to Arizona. i have always considered Joe a dear friend and can't imagine what Bernie and the kids are going through. Always thought of you guys as extended family. With saying will miss you Joe.

Berni and Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Joey's passing. Please accept our sincere condolences. I remember Joey as always being so kind to us as we were growing up. He used to tease me and my brother Jimmy when we visited them on Littleton Ave in Newark. He was so funny too, just an all around fun-loving and great guy! I hope he is resting easy now with so many of our other family members that have passed before him. Rest In Peace, my dear cousin.
Berni, may you and your family find comfort during this very difficult time.
