Katherine Mary Cutajar

Katherine Mary Cutajar Nov. 19, 1939 - Dec. 26, 2021. Katherine passed away at Kaiser Hospital in South San Francisco. She was born in Qrendi, Malta, the eldest of 6 children of Paul and Mary Carmela Catania. She came to San Francisco with her family at the age of 12, graduated from Balboa High School, and worked for 8 years as an Administrative Assistant for the FBI and the Naval Shipyard. A resident of Millbrae since 1969, she enjoyed walking on Crystal Springs Reservoir, gardening, crossword puzzles, bingo, knitting, casino trips, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John and survived by her siblings, Rosalie Zanatta, Manuel Catania, Mary Serafina Axiaq, her children, Mary Carmela Crenshaw (Dan), Joseph, Paul, Nick, and Kathleen Morearty (Brian) and her grandchildren, Nicole and Erik Crenshaw, Rosalie, Nicholas, and Elizabeth Morearty, and Giuliana Cutajar. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 4th at 9:00 AM at Saint Dunstan Catholic Church, 1133 Broadway in Millbrae. Committal will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma. Family and friends may visit on Monday, January 3rd after 5:00 PM at Crosby-N. Gray & Co. Funeral Home, 2 Park Road in Burlingame, with a Vigil Service beginning at 7:00 PM. Donations may be made to the 2 of Katherine's favorite charities, Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
