Kathryn was born on May 10, 1917 to Adam & Katherine (Roshau) Geiger in Cannonball, ND. Kathryn was with us for nearly a century that saw many changes. Kathryn married Joe Ehreth in November of 1938. They bought a ranch west of Solen where they raised Hereford cattle. They had 3 daughters, Kathleen, Betty and Roberta. Joe died suddenly on October 2, 1964. After the hardships of running the ranch and the blizzard of 1966, the ranch was sold. Kathryn and Roberta moved to Minot that fall where she worked at Ellison’s Department Store. After Roberta’s college graduation and marriage, Kathryn moved to Bismarck where she worked at Lucas’s Department Store. Following the death of her second husband, Wenzel Cermak, she then returned to Minot. Kathryn will be deeply missed by her daughters, Kathleen (Ken) Brinster, Albuquerque, NM, Betty (Lynn) Wood, Minot, ND and Roberta (Roger) Weber, Independence, OR along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and brother, Bill Geiger, Solen, ND. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Joe and Wenzel; granddaughter, Hailey Sattler; sisters, Rose and Veronica; brothers, Adam, Tony, Christ and Frank. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be directed to the American Heart Association.

God bless and keep you. I hope you remember Betty George from the farm next door to to your place when you lived in Solen. Lots of memories from there; bus rides, school times; Kathryn and Joe. Life was good then. Betty George Celley
