Leon A. Pawinski

Leon A. Pawinski, age 85 of Palm Desert, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2021. He was born in Gary, IN, to the late Leon Pawinski and Wanda Pawinski Nagy. He served in the US Army in Germany. He was a former buyer for Rikes and JWRobinsons department stores. Leon was eventually the owner of a printing company in Costa Mesa and stayed in the printing business until his retirement. He remained an avid golfer at his desert home at the Oasis Country Club. He is survived by his loving wife Linda Pawinski (nee Wolfskill) of Palm Desert, sons Leon Pawinski Jr of La Jolla, CA; John (Jennifer) Pawinski of Lake Country, TX; Michael Pawinski of Costa Mesa, CA; daughters Sherrie (Rich) Reynolds of Eureka, CA; Lori Pawinski of Los Angeles, CA; sister Loretta Rieck of DeMotte, IN; brother-in-law Greg Wolfskill of Palm Desert, CA; sister-in-law Karen Nagy of Crown Point IN; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Services will be private.
