Lucille Catherine Glaub Folzenlogel- Mockelstrom 86, of Indianapolis, died on April 23, 2009. Lucille was born on August 28, 1922 in St. Leon, Indiana to Frank J. and Barbara R.(Bleill) Glaub. Lucille, an Army wife of almost twenty years, traveled through many states and lived two years in Heidelberg, Germany. She worked at the American Defense Plant in Connersville, Indiana during World War II and retired from Pike Township Food Service in 1985. She was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church and, serving as president of their ‘Young at Heart Group and the ‘Blue Army . She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, sewing, camping, writing and poetry. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; Alma M. Ripberger, Matilda L. Turner and husbands, both World War II veterans George I. Folzenlogel (Army) and Eugene A. Mockelstrom (Navy). She is survived by brothers, Edwin J. Glaub and Louis W. (Phyllis) Glaub, sister Alice A. Bailey, daughter Diane E. (Roy) Caruthers, sons Daniel M. (Karen) Folzenlogel, David A. Folzenlogel, Duane R. (Carla) Folzenlogel, Donald R.(RuthAnn) Folzenlogel, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, five step-children and four step- grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 27, 2009 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center, located in the Washington Park North Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00am with the service to follow at 1:30pm.
