Marjorie E. Gromyko

Marjorie E. (Connors) Gromyko of Reading, formerly of Woburn passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2005 at Winchester Hospital. She was 81 years of age. Born in Woburn, Marjorie was the daughter of the late Morton Connors and Karen (Andersen) Connors. Marjorie was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all. Marjorie was a dedicated homemaker for many years. She loved her family. They were first and foremost in her life. Marjorie was formerly employed at Mast Industries in Woburn. She worked many years at the Senior Center. She was active in St. Agnes Church. Marjorie truly enjoyed playing Bingo. She will be missed by Dottie and her Bingo Buds. Marjorie was the beloved wife of the late Edmund G. Gromyko. She was the devoted mother of Edmund G. Gromyko Jr. and his wife Cathy of Reading and Paul F. Gromyko of Salem, New Hampshire. Marjorie was the cherished grandmother of Robert J. Gromyko and Kimberly A. Novak. She was the loving great grandmother of John and Jake Novak and Jesse Gromyko. Marjorie was the dear sister of Jacquline Sandmo of Woburn, Carole Vasapoli of Winchester and the late Morton Connors Jr., Lillian Balesteri, Martha Southmayd, Marion Tuck and Evelyn Pierce. Funeral from the Joseph Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Thursday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Marjorie's life in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 9am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8pm.
