Martha Jean "Jinks" Walker Lee Martha Jean "Jinks" Walker Lee, 86 of Ashdown, AR passed away April 7, 2015 at the Little River Memorial Hospital in Ashdown, AR. Mrs. Lee was born July 9, 1928, in Ben Lomond, Arkansas, to Lewis D. Walker and Ina Ruth Sutton Walker. Martha Jean was very involved with her children. She was a den mother, brownie leader, girl scout leader, and a room mother. Martha Jean was a piano teacher, she was an excellent pianist. She played the piano at the rest homes in Texarkana, and Ashdown on Sunday afternoons. She was a past worthy matron of the Eastern Star, a member of the Jefferson Chapter #554, and a member of the Junior League of Texarkana. Martha Jean, also known as Granny Jinks, was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Hunter Young Sr.; second husband, Charles C. Lee; and great grandson, Brandon Giles. Survivors include two sons, Jack H Young Jr.(Judy) of Ashdown, AR, Lewis W. Young (Becky) of Texarkana, AR; daughter, Martha Ann Young of Ashdown, AR; five grandchildren, James H. Young (Karen), Jason W. Young (Heather), William Young, Bryan Wright (Stephanie) and Madison A. Woodruff; five great grandchildren, Christina Howard, Johnathan Haggard, Jason Wade Young Jr., Lainee D. Young, and Ellen Wright; one great- great granddaughter, Adrianna Cerna; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Thursday evening April 9, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm at Madden Funeral Home in the chapel in Ashdown, AR. Funeral Services will Friday April 10, 2015 at 2:00pm at Madden Funeral Home in the chapel in Ashdown, AR with Bro. Brad Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow at Ben Lomond Cemetery in Ben Lomond, AR under the direction of Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown, AR. Online registration: maddenfuneralservice.com
