Mrs. Mary (Greco) Vaudo

Mary (Greco) Vaudo, of Stoneham, formerly of Somerville, passed away on February 7, 2022 Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and will be missed by all who knew her. After growing up in Cambridge, Mary was swept off her feet by a handsome young man from a picturesque village in Italy. They married within months and the pitter patter of little feet followed. Mary and Sal soon moved to Somerville where the family eventually grew to five boys. When her ambitious husband quit his full time job to begin their lifelong construction business, Mary was there to field phone calls, help with bids, and balance the books. Together they built their dream single family home in Stoneham where they lived out their retirement years. Mary enjoyed spending time with family, line dancing and Friday lunches with friends, as well as her Florida winter getaways with her husband. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore C. Vaudo. Devoted mother of Anthony and his wife Gail, Salvatore Jr. and his wife Marie, Joseph and his wife Donna, Robert and his wife Patricia and Nicholas and his wife Eve. Cherished grandmother of Christine and her husband Thomas, Jacqueline and her husband Scott, Michael and fiance Sarah, Madeleine, Christopher and fiance Alexa, Bryan, Katie, Nicholas, Matthew, David, Benjamin and Jessica. Great grandmother to Jackson, Mackenzie and Vivienne. Sister of the late Nicholas Greco and Theresa Vaudo. Family and friends are kindly invited to a gather and share memories with the family in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM Friday February 11th, 2022 from 8:30 am to 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Mary's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
