So sad to hear about Maurie - we camped with him and Peggy for many years, (Wabash Valley Wanderers) - they were so much fun to visit with and sit around the campfire.

Bombie Family,
I graduated from Rossville in 1978, a few months later on the first day I was hired at Fairfield I met Maury. He taught me so much more than how to run a drill press. How lucky I was that he was the first Man to teach me in the real world. (other than my Dad) Compassionate, sincere, and above all honest about what was expected of me. I was laid off in may of 1982, and moved to AZ, even though I never spoke with Maury again, he has always been with me. Even with my Dad still in Rossville, I feel as if I have lost another one. It was with a sad heart reading the JConline today I learned of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Bombie Family,
I graduated from Rossville in 1978. When I was hired by Fairfield a few months later, I was introduced to Maury the day I started. I will forever be thankful he was the first man to teach and train me as an adult, in the real world. Compassionate, sincere, and above all honest about what was expected of me. I was laid off from Fairfield in May 1982 and moved to AZ. He taught me more than how to run a drill press. I never talked to him after leaving Fairfield, but to this day he has always been with me. It was with a tremendous sad heart to read the JConline today and learn of your loss. Even though my Dad is still in Rossville today, I feel as if I lost another one.
Maury was a huge influence on me at 19yr old. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, Maury will always be with me.
