I remember the visits I would make to Louisville. Each time I would visit Pat and Johnny I remember walking through their door, Pat would greet my brother and I with, Hi boys! Look how big you've grown! Now if you have met the two of us we're behemoths. Hearing that is white noise. But hearing that from Pat and the rest of the family is priceless. Especially since I'm far away from Louisville on the west coast. I'll never hear her say that ever again.
This was tough to type because tears blur my vision. RIP

Patsy was one of the people that made OLOL the great school it is. I never saw her without a smile or that twinkle in her eye. She is a treasure never to be forgotten.

I was blessed to teach all of Patsy's children. Neil, Jason and Ashley, as well as John...you are in my thoughts and prayers. Patsy was such a wonderful, gentle, kind woman who gave everything to her work with her own family as well as to those children that she helped at OLOL. When I was back subbing at the school, she graciously helped me to know what to do for a monitoring task that I had been given to do. That was Patsy...always helping others....she will be missed so much, but I know she is enjoying life eternal in heaven.

Johnny,Neil,Jason, and Ashley, I have no words that will convey to you how sorry I am for your loss. I can only try to relate it to the passing of my mother, and just how difficult that was. She meant so much to me just as you all did and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. My love to you all,

Ashley, we are very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She taught our son, Jimmy at Our Lady of Lourdes. Jimmy loved her as a teacher and we always enjoyed meeting with her at teachers - parents days. When we would see her at Kroger's she always talked proudly and admiringly of Wade and Woods. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,
Pam and Jim Shaw (down the street)

Patsy was a joy to be around and really helped me out when I started at Lourdes. I enjoyed lunch with her the year that Ashley and Ashley were married. We'd hear all about it at lunch and her face just glowed with joy!
She was upbeat and cheerful all the time and brought sunshine wherever she went.

Patsy kept us laughing at our monthly Lourdes retiree lunches. She always had a funny story to relay, made even more funny by her hand gestures and the fact that these outrageous stories were all true. Patsy was a wonderful co-worker, always ready to fill in where needed without question. She was and always will be adored, and will be remembered often by her many, many friends. Rest in peace, Patsy. You will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Hulsewede was a TA for 2 of my children and I was fortunate enough to be the room mother both of those years. Luckily, that gave me the opportunity to spend lots of time with her. As a chic who likes to laugh a lot myself, Mrs. Hulsewede and I hit it off famously! I always got so excited when I saw her picking up a grandchild at school! The entire OLOL community will miss her!

I met Berti through Ellen Head . Ellen and I were roommates at WKU. Patsy would visit Ellen,, and I got to know her! She and Ellen were the funniest people i have ever met! When I think of her, the first thing that will come to mind, is how she always made me laugh! This is a great loss to all who knew here. May she rest in peace. My heart-felt condolences to all of her family and friends Kaye Fulton
