Primo Bartolacci, 93, of Springfield, PA, formerly of Overbrook, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 31, 2022 with his loving daughter by his side. He was born in Colonnella, Italy. The son of the late Augusto and Giovina (Sanseverinati), Primo emigrated to the United States with his wife and daughter in 1964. Primo began his career as a tailor in Italy and worked for Today's Man for many years. Primo loved traveling back to his home town in Italy to visit family. He also enjoyed going to the beach, cooking, walking and was an avid soccer fan. He loved tending to his vegetable garden and visiting Linvilla Orchards to pick peaches with his daughter. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Regina Bartolacci; his brothers, Domenico, Arminio and his sisters, Laura Louisa and Angela Di Giacinto. Primo is survived by his loving daughter, Giovanna "Joanne" Bartolacci; and his nieces, Patrizia, Maria Louisa, Gloria, Laura, and many cousins and friends in Italy. A viewing will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, on Friday, August 5, 2022, at St. Francis of Assisi Parrish, 136 Saxer Ave, Springfield, PA 19064. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am, at the church. Burial to follow at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield. The family requests that masks be worn for the visitation and mass. A special thank you to Tamara Johnson and the staff of The Pines at Wesley Enhanced Living for their care and support.
