Ramona E. Kelpinski

Ramona A. Kelpinski, age 89, of Appleton, peacefully passed away on the evening of February 8, 2018, with her family by her side at Thedacare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. Ramona very much enjoyed the over 10,500 games of scrabble she played with Lori, and solving word puzzles on the Wheel of Fortune. She also loved to buy things so that when people came to visit she would always have a gift for them, regardless of if they were family or not. She loved watching movies nightly while speaking on the phone with Cathy. Mom was truly a person that was a giver her entire life who always put others before herself. Ramona is survived by her children: Judy (Mike), Larry (Sherill), Ron (aka Santa), Cathy (Jeff), Tim (Debbie), Lori (aka Squishy) and Mona (Jeff); her grandchildren: Gary, Laura (Nick), John (Nikki), Tina (Tony), Kristine (John), Heather (Jesse), Tracy (Joseph), Larry Jr. (Heather), Ron Jr., Tony, and Amanda (Ben); and her great great grandchildren: Alex (Alan), Gary Jr. (Kenzie), Melody, Eric (Rissa), Teresa (Justin), Oliver, Sabastian, Melodie, Racheal, Brandon, Brooke, Devon, Cassie, Elliot, Elizabeth, Cohen, Laylua, Charles, Zayne, Brooklyn, Zoey, Emmerlynn, Madi, Lynn, Alexia, Jaimen, Madison, Preston, Bentley, Nevaeh, Skyler, Aaliah, Patience and Mitchel. Special thoughts go out to those that have preceded her in death: her son: Robert, beloved husband: Orville; brother John (Jack); her parents: John and Grace Konkol; also Merlin Kelpinski, milly and Jerry Berg, Vick and Marian Kells; and the animals she loved and who brought her great companionship throughout the years: Gushy, Angel, Fluffy, Wilbur, Buster, Spotty, Pierre and Trinkets. A special thanks goes out to Ramona’s son Ron (aka Santa) and her daughter Lori for the last 16 years of loving care that made her life happy and joyful. We would like to thank Mike Bazile, Sonny, Patti, Mike Wager (Sally), and Charles and Jackqueline for all their help throughout the years. Also, Heather, Tracy and Aalyiah for their extra support towards the end. The funeral liturgy for Ramona will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2018, at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 West Lawrence St. Appleton, with Fr. Jim Leary, O.F.M. Cap. officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of Mass.
