I am so sad to learn of Dickie's passing! He was a wonderful person! Funny and caring. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear husband, father, and grandfather, Peg, Deb, Rick, PJ, and your families.

My condolences to you all. I can truly say I have not meet anyone as nice or as down to earth as Dick. A great guy to be around. He taught me how to drive fire trucks, and he was the best at it! I always felt safe when he was driving to a fire alarm. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Peggy, Debbie, Rick, and PJ.

Love and Blessings from both of us

To My Cousin Dickie Perfetta...It was the early fifties when we met as cousins and you welcomed me into that Fun Perfetta clan. Every time I made the journey to Pennsylvania with my folks John and Margaret;( Sophie's sister), you and your brothers (and Louise) made it a special Slickville event...I remember that old Junk car that Uncle Banjo had back in the corner of the yard that you boys were allowed to smash up with sledgehammers...That was Banjo's..(your Dads) free anger management for his boys. I was only 7 or 8 but how fun to smash a car with a sledgehammer. Of Course, Dickie could administer the most damage, which led to his prodigious golf tee shots. And throughout life, you're unconditional love for me and my life and My Kate who loved that you accepted her as a family as you did my kids, Molly and John Patrick.
Then there was your love of food as you always told my sister and I that the Perfettas ate Spaghetti every night. Now since Louise has taken over the special meals that we shared together with pierogies and Pasta Fiesole I know that that was not true
I am sure that Harold had a golf cart waiting for you on the other side. Rest your Soul well. Peggy and your kids were so blessed to have had you...so when you are ready to come on back the food is delicious

I met Dick only a few times. I would see him at restaurants and musical performances with his family. I remember what a polite and happy man he was. He was obviously loved by friends and family.
