Every time I saw Bobby D he was the same genuine soul. He always was respectful and made me feel respected during our intense conversations. Someone who taught me to never ever allow another to cross the line. A true equal that was always on the same level. Someone I am lucky to have known. I will truly miss his words of wisdom. Deepest condolences to his family.

March 9, 2018 ...Even though I went to the same high school as Bobby and new many of his friends, I didn't know him. Over the years his name came up in many conversations. I always said to myself, I'll meet him someday. In 2016 I finally met Bobby on the golf course. We became instant friends. I so looked forward to playing with him and our genuine conversations. Good men are hard to find, he will be missed by me.

March 7, 2018...Our sincere condolences to Judy, Justine, Greg and Dicky. What a good friend Bobby was! He was a "Milfordian" even though he was born in Framingham. No one was better at "one liners" than Bobby. It was always fun to play golf with him. Even when he was being treated, he never complained and he could still play! He will be missed by all. Dear Judy,
I am deeply saddened at Bobby's passing. He put a tremendous fight.
I have known Bobby since I was a kid (now more than 70 years ago, growing up just down the street from my very dear friend "The great and amazing Bobby D"). Later in life we spent decades working together at Stop & Shop.
I too feel the loss that you and your family feel. My heart aches. A special piece of my life has passed away with Bobby.
Many years ago when my wife passed a friend told me something that had helped him deal with his loss of a loved one, and he thought it might help me dealing with my grief. It did. May it do the same for you and your family:
