So incredibly sad to hear about Roger. When I heard the news I felt like someone in our family had passed. Think of the Knollmeyers often and where you all are and what you are doing. Always had the utmost respect for the entire Knollmeyer gang. Truly a class act! You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this very sad time.
With deepest sympathy,

Roger was a great role model for the rest of the Knollmeyers that
came to Mount Greylock Regional High School. He was a superb history student.so personable, so easy to like and admire. I send love to the family and to his friends.until we all meet again.

We have fond memories of Roger. Bill coached him in track & field, cross-country, and taught in math. He was an exceptional athlete and person. He was a wonderful leader respected by his teammates and competitors. He ushered in a whole family of athletes! Our sympathy.

I can see Roger content, and running out of the trail in the woods at Mt Greylock High School, as if it was just yesterday. He was a classmate and friend of my brother, Curt. To his family, I extend my deepest sympathies. Please know, I will always cherish his wonderful smile, and the nearly constant twinkle in his eyes. He will be missed.

Roger was a cross-country teammate of mine at Mt. Greylock and beyond being a great runner he was just a great guy, always nice and always friends with everyone.
Paul had mentioned that he had some health issues, but this is still sad and shocking news. He will be deeply missed.
