Samuel Wells Bellamy, Jr., age 81, of Cicero, IN died June 15, 2016 at Riverwalk Village at Noblesville, IN. He was born October 23, 1934 at Bonny Blue, Virginia to Samuel Wells and Ruby (Russell) Bellamy, Sr. He owned Sam's Texaco Station at Cicero for several years. He also worked at Steel Parts Corporation at Tipton and had provided a tax service for the local community known as Bellamy's Tax Service. He was an avid fisherman who also made and sold fish baits. He enjoyed bowling, and for several years bowled on various leagues, mainly at the Tipton Bowling Lanes. He married Mary Elizabeth (Paul) Bellamy on March 4, 1967. She preceded him in death on May 3, 2014. In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents, son: Mark A. Bellamy, sister Joan Hamilton, and a brother: Sonny Bellamy. Survivors include a daughter: Lori D. Johnson of Anderson, In, son: Samuel W. Bellamy, III of Denville, NJ, grandchildren: Brant A. Thompson, Cayla A. Bellamy, Samuel J. Bellamy, Brittany D. Fullen and Jillian Rogers, great-grandchildren: Victoria D. Fullen and Walker J. Fullen, and a brother: James (Arlene) Bellamy of Cicero, IN. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday, June 20, 2016 at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, IN, 46034 with Pastor Neal Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. until time of the services. Burial will occur June 28, 2016 at Powell Valley Cemetery at Lafollette, Tennessee. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. You may send condolences at www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
