Elmo is the nickname we call Dr.Sergio Cuison.
We met during our residency years 1964-68 in Atlantic City,NJ.
Drs Sergio & Navora Gapas as our secondary wedding sponsors.
Elmo acted as a proxy(Bride's dad )as he escorted Gigi to the church and gave her away ritual.
we will both miss these wonderful kind hearted soul. May they both rest n peace.

It says in that bible in Matthew 5:3 that, "Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need". And it is evident that Sergio was conscious of his own spiritual needs. I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest condolences.

I worked with Dr Cuison for many years, most closely when I worked in the PAT department at Hackley. He was so good to patients and explained the anesthesia experience to patients with consideration and care. I am glad that I got to work with him and learn from him.

Satisfying work,' defined a business writer, is work that brings convenience, comfort or pleasure to many people's lives.' Such work brings deep satisfaction to the worker. It is as Jesus Christ said: There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving.Acts 20:35. Although working for the good of others is commendable, there is yet another key element to finding satisfaction in work and in life. King Solomon, after having experienced all the luxuries and riches that life has to offer, came to this grand conclusion: Fear the true God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole obligation of man.Ecclesiastes 12:13. This man strived to accomplish both these goals. He has left a good example for others to follow. I extend my sympathy to the family.

I will miss seeing Dr Sergio in our Sunday morning Mass. He was such an inspiration to all of us. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
