Mr. Shashi Kant Kapil

Shashi Kant Kapil, age 70, entered into eternal life in San Jose, California on March, 19, 2015 after 10 years of chronic health illness. Born in Lahore, Punjab, India, he lived in New Delhi India for 28 years until he moved to Australia for business. He lived and worked in many places around the world including New Zealand, Fiji Islands, England, France, New Caledonia, and finally settled in America after living in New York City, San Francisco, and finally in San Jose California. He was a multi-business owner in the export/import fashion industry, insurance agent, and entrepreneur until he fell ill in 2004. Shashi was a mentor and leader to all of his family, and he embarked on unknown territory to help support his parents and seven siblings. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Norma Kapil, his children, Akshay, Ajay and Monica, San Jose, CA. Shashi was preceded in death by his parents, Prem-Nath and Kaushalya Kapil, and his eldest brother Rama Kant Kapil. Services will be held at 5:30 pm, March 26th, 2015, at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park at the Chapel of the Roses at 300 Curtner Ave San Jose, CA. Relatives and friends are welcome at that time.
