Dear Kathy and daughters,

I was so very sad to hear of Tom's passing. I met Tom the very first day I interviewed at Schering-Plough, way back in 1989. I was very found of Tom; he was a warm, funny person who deeply loved his family.

Kathy,
May you and your daughters find peace, knowing that Tom is no longer in pain.

He will be missed.

Tom, what can I say about Tom.
I have known Tom since I started as a chemist at Schering in 1970, which was 47 years ago.
When you encountered him in the many places that his job functions took him to, it was always like encountering a ray of sunshine. He would always stop and engage you a a meaningful, and always humerus, conversation. Whether it was the state of the company, or sports, he was always there, looking fit and happy.
In later years, our conversations turned to retirement and our little contest, which was who would retire first!
Well Tom, you won when I retired in 2010.
I will miss Tom, for he touch many lives and brought some joy to the SCHERING FAMILY.
REST IN PEACE, TOM.
You will be missed by more people than you know.
