Verna M. Grailer

"Verna Grailer" KINGSFORD - Verna M. Grailer, 88, of 200 Morrison St., Kingsford, died Sunday, March 13, 2005, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. She was born on Dec.12, 1916, in Daggett, the daughter of the late Andrew and Ann (CaLour) Walton. Mrs. Grailer was a lifelong resident of the area. She enjoyed fishing and going to camp. She married Louis Grailer on Dec. 28, 1935, in Iron Mountain. He preceded her in death on July 5, 1978. Verna is survived by three sons, William (Shirley), Albert "Pooch" (Ursula) and Jerry "Dimps" (Susan) Grailer, all of Kingsford; one daughter, Teresa (Pete) Rossato of Kingsford; 12 grandchildren, Mike (Debbie) Grailer, Lisa Grailer, Steve Grailer, Brian (Rose) Grailer, Jim (Jeannine) Grailer, Jerry Grailer Jr., Randy (Gidget) Grailer, Cathy (Pat) Babb, Robert Grailer, MaryKay (Heath) Buechel, David (Athena) Grailer, and Michael Grailer; 27 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by a son, Edward, on Nov. 20, 1992; and by her brothers and sisters. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Tondin-Ross & Freeman Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Fr. Joseph Gouin will officiate. Burial will be in the Quinnesec Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her memory.
