Vertie was born on September 24, 1924 and passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015. Vertie was a resident of Mooresville, North Carolina at the time of her passing. She was married to David. Services will be held on Wednesday December 16 at 3:00 PM at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Cline officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:30 -3:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow in the St. Enoch Lutheran Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Enoch Lutheran Church Flower Fund 701 Campbell Ave. Kannapolis NC 28081.
