WALTER J. "WALT" MARZIANI

MARZIANI Walter J. "Walt", age 68, passed away peacefully at home with his family on Dec. 8, 2021. Walter was born in Moro D'oro, Abruzzo, Italy. He was the son of the late Nicolo and Gloria (DeMarco). His family immigrated to the United States in 1956 where they settled in the 49th street section of Philadelphia, then later Overbrook. Walter was a skilled bricklayer who was proud of his craft for over 40 years. He worked for many contractors and Union Local 1. Walter was known for his outgoing, gregarious personality. He could always be found smiling, laughing and singing. Walter was also known for his love of The Beatles. Survived by his devoted wife of 37 yrs. Joanne (nee D'Alesandro), his son Walter (fiancé Valarie), his grandson Joseph, his brothers Nicolo and Frank, his sisters Gloria (Anthony) Mari and Cristina (Joseph) DiTommaso, his sister and brother in-laws Rosemarie, Mike, Janet and Mark , many cousins, nieces and nephews and was predeceased by his brother Maurizio "Morris". Relatives & friends are invited to his Viewing Tuesday Evening 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday Morning 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. at The D'Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike 19008 and Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. in the Main Chapel. Interment S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
