Wilbur was born on April 19, 1953 and passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018. Wilbur was a resident of Red Oak, Iowa at the time of passing. He graduated from Stanton High School in 1971 and drove a truck and worked for Nachurs before starting a career at the Red Oak Fire Department. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Faith Community Church. Burial will be in the Mission Covenant Cemetery near Stanton, Iowa. Visitation with the family will be held from 4-6 PM Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel.

So sorry for your loss. I knew Wilbur for a time as he was the kindest man anyone could ask for. He had a heart of gold and he will be missed.

This man taught me many things in life. I regret not staying in touch more. He was a wonderful man and father. I hope that I can espouse the things he taught me in life and remember the good times he and I shared.
