Dear Carl and Jack,
We were truly saddened to hear of your father's recent passing. Tom and I had a tremendous ammount of respect and love for him. I know that Tom shared his memories of your Dad with you Car. The fact that we both loved to spend time with both Bill and Eileen is testament to the kind of people they were...truly authentic.
A memory we will always cherish is the time they visited us in Halifax and we spent an entire night over dinner laughing and loving their wonderful stories about their time in the UK during WW2...amazing stories.
He was one of a kind. This marks the end of an Era.

I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing Carl and Mikey. I have such fond memories of staying at Eileen & Bill's home during the occasions of the 'Murphy Reunions' a couple of times. He was so fun and interesting - a very generous, kind and fun man. Blessings to you. How you will miss him! Lots of love, Lee.
