Wilma Ostresh, 93, of Granite City, IL, passed away on July 25, 2012, at Gateway Regional Hospital, Granite City, IL. Wilma was born on September 17, 1918, in Granite City, IL, a daughter to the late Sam and Anna Sucich. Wilma had worked for Leaders Department Store in Granite City as a clerk for many years. She was also a volunteer for AARP, Granite City Chapter. Wilma will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Wilma was preceded in death by her loving parents; husband, Elmer Ostresh; two brothers, Louis and Rudy Sucich and one sister, Agnes Barunica. She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews. In celebration of her life, graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Edwardsville, IL, with Rev. Charles West officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Interment will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
